Perry County Tennessee Amateur Radio UHF Repeater
Supporting Local Communications: CRG Sponsors Perry County UHF Repeater
Cogent Radios Group (CRG) is pleased to announce our official sponsorship of the Perry County Amateur Radio UHF repeater. As part of our ongoing commitment to robust regional communications, CRG is managing the dedicated upkeep and technical maintenance of this vital piece of local infrastructure.
Effective immediately, the repeater is operational for the amateur radio community at the following specifications:
- Frequency: 443.300 MHz
- Offset: +5.0 MHz
- Tone: 103.5 Hz
Current Status & Maintenance
Please be advised that the repeater is currently undergoing essential repairs. During this maintenance period, operators may experience limited coverage and reduced signal strength in certain areas. Our technical team is working diligently to restore the system to its full height and power as quickly as possible. We appreciate the community’s patience as we harden this site for long-term reliability.
Future Connectivity: AllStar & EchoLink
We are also excited to share our roadmap for the system. In the near future, CRG will be integrating an AllStar node link into the Perry County repeater. This upgrade will significantly expand the repeater’s reach, making it accessible via EchoLink and allowing local operators to connect with the wider amateur radio world directly from their handhelds or mobile units.
Our Commitment to Tennessee Operators
At Cogent Radios Group, we understand that community safety and connectivity begin with reliable hardware. We are proud to support the local amateur radio community and the South Central Tennessee Radio Association in their efforts to keep the airwaves open and accessible.
We invite you to monitor the frequency for updates and look forward to seeing the system back at 100% capacity soon.
