Dynamite comes in small packages, and it’s no different with the Ranger RCI-X9 HP. With a carrier power of up to 50 watts and a PEP of 175 watts, you will certainly not want for power. Its compact size makes it even more desirable, as it can fit comfortably into the overhead compartments found in most trucks. And with so much power, you would expect the radio to get hot, but unlike many other compact radios, the RCI-X9 HP has no heat sink sticking out anywhere. Instead, two internal cooling fans blow the heat out the bottom, ensuring that your radio stays cool and performs at its optimum. The radio has a height of only 2.25″, making it small enough to fit into most spaces while leaving enough room below the unit so the fans can dissipate the heat.

For those desiring a radio with a classic look and feel, the RCI-X9 HP may just be the one. It has a striking black and chrome finish, highlighted by just enough color from the color-changeable backlight to add a touch sophistication. With MIC gain, RF gain, echo control, squelch control, a fine clarifier and ANL and NB filters, you are set for the best possible communication experience.
