President Electronics now brings you the all-new rugged Randy II FCC AM/FM mobile CB radio, one of the most convenient CB radios around. The Randy II has everything you’ve come to expect from the Randy FCC, and more. It’s the first FCC-approved handheld radio with FM capabilities to reach the U.S. market, placing it in a class of its own.

This nifty CB radio handheld is hardly bigger than a cell phone, but don’t let its size fool you! With 40 AM CB radio channels, 7 NOAA weather channels and a very handy flashlight, it’s the ideal device to have around for emergencies; perfect for use at home and on the road.

The Randy II CB radio also features a useful new scan/skip function. Traditionally, “SCAN” allows you to automatically and continuously search through the 40 channels, and it only stops when it reaches a channel with an incoming signal. Then it stays at that channel unless you press a key to continue the scan. But you might not be interested in some channels that do have incoming signals, so the skip function allows you to mark the channels you want to exclude from the scan, focussing instead on scanning only those that you are really interested in.

Can be used with external CB antennas through the use of the included TNC to PL-259 antenna adapter. This should increase range of operation. The Randy IS NOT compatible with antennas using a BNC connection.
